Main Window Layout

The Articulate LLM interface consists of three primary components:

1. Chat Window

• Main conversation area
• Message history display
• Input field for messages

2. Command Panel

• Chats management
• Als (Articulate LLMs) configuration
• Application settings

Command Panel

Chats

Starting a new conversation

To start a new conversation:

1. Open the command panel with Ctrl/Cmd + K
2. In the chats tab, click on the New Chat button
3. Enter your message in the input field at the bottom of the chat window
4. Press Enter or click the Send button

Pro Tip: Use the keyboard command Ctrl/Cmd + N to open a new chat quickly

Viewing and Opening Past Conversations

1. Open the command panel with Ctrl/Cmd + K
2. In the chats tab, you can view and modify your previous chats and their settings
3. Enter your message in the input field at the bottom of the chat window
4. Press Enter or click the Send button

Viewing and Editing Chat Info

1. Open the command panel with Ctrl/Cmd + K
2. Click on the ellipsis to bring of the options of the desired chat
3. Click on Chat Info

Deleting Chats

1. Open the command panel with Ctrl/Cmd + K
2. Click on the ellipsis to bring of the options of the desired chat
3. Click on Delete Chat

Als

Creating new Articulate LLMs (Als)

1. Open the command panel with Ctrl/Cmd + K
2. Click the Als tab
3. Click the Create New Al button

Theme Customization

Articulate LLM offers two distinct interface themes:

Fast Theme

• Terminal-like interface
• Minimalist design
• Focused on keyboard-driven interaction
• Ideal for power users and developers

Friendly Theme

• Modern chat interface
• Familiar GUI elements
• More visual guidance
• Perfect for new users and general use

To change themes:

1. Open the command panel with Ctrl/Cmd + K
2. Click the settings tab
3. Choose between 'Fast' or 'Friendly' theme

Pro Tip: Fast theme users can navigate entirely with keyboard shortcuts for increased efficiency.

Special Features

Document Handling

Uploading Documents

You can add documents to your conversation in several ways:

• Drag and drop files directly into the chat
• Copy and paste content
• Use the Upload button (in Friendly mode)
• Use keyboard shortcut: Ctrl/Cmd + U

Supported file types:

• PDF documents
• Text files (.txt)
• Word documents (.docx)
• Various plain text and code files
